Program Workers - Part-time and Relief

If you are interested in providing direct support to our individuals accessing services, either in our Day or in Residential Programs, providing hands-on assistance in the development or maintenance of daily living skills, personal hygiene, as well as attending to meals, household duties, and recreational activities, then we welcome your application for employment.

WDACS is always looking for qualified Program Workers, willing to work in all areas and willing to work all shifts. 

The Connections Day Program hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the Residential Program's shifts are evenings and weekends. Openings are also available to work with complex needs individuals accessing our services for those who have experience.  These shifts are open to experienced and inexperienced candidates who are passionate and caring for others, energetic, eager to learn, and can meet the job requirements.  Promotional opportunities exist internally through an internal posting process, for casual workers who have demonstrated a commitment and ability to move into ongoing permanent positions.

If you are  at least 18,  possess a valid Alberta's driver's license with access to a personal vehicle, have current First Aid/CPR certification, and provide a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check, then we would welcome your interest.
